Shayne Lamas and Nik Richie Welcome Daughter Press Dahl

Shayne Lamas and husband Nik Richie have welcomed their first child. Daughter Press Dahl Lamas-Richie was born by caesarean section at 12:01pm on Friday November 11th. She weighed 6lb 6oz.

The couple had decided on their baby girl’s unique name early on in the pregnancy. Shayne told E! news:

“Her name came to us at the beginning of my pregnancy, because she was getting so much press.

“It started as a joke, her nickname was ‘Press Baby,’ but when we found out it was a girl, suddenly that was her name – her name was going to be Press!

“I think Press is a beautiful name, we’re elated, little princess Press!”

Emma Bunton has teamed up with Argos to design a 99 peice collection of baby and children’s wear – some of which is to be modelled by the singer’s 4-year-old son Beau Lee. Speaking of her collaberation with the store, 35-year-old Emma - who is also mum to son Tate Lee, 6 months with boyfriend Jade Jones, said:

‘As a Mum myself I’m forever searching for fun and fashionable clothes for my boys, that are comfortable and practical too – clothes they really want to wear. Working with Argos has given me the opportunity to create just that.

“I’ve worked hard on every piece of the range; the designs, colours, fabrics, prints and cuts and I’m so proud of the outcome.

“As a child I modelled for Argos and featured in the catalouge several times so it’s great to make a return appearence, this time with my own range. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do.”

The collection is set to hit stores and the Argos catalouge in January 2012.

Kimberly Stewart – daughter of Rod Stewart – introduces her gorgeous baby daughter Delilah Genoveva in a recent issue of Hello! Magazine. Little Delilah was born on August 22nd and weighed 8lbs 10oz. On finding out she was pregnant:

K: I was excited, of course! I come from a big family and have always wanted lots of kids. My family were very excited and supportive, and my dad was so happy that he started to cry.

On the labour:

K: Delilah’s actual due date was on my birthday but she came a day later. The entire labour lasted about 17 hours – at around hour 16 I finally gave in and had an epidural.

The entire family, including Benicio, was at the hospital and my mom and Benicio were in the delivery room with me.

On choosing Delilah’s name:

K: I named her after the Tom Jones song, as I’d always loved it. Actually, Sophia had been at the top of the list and then I found out it was one of the most popular baby names, and that solidified Delilah; I thought it was unique.

On Benicio as a dad:

K: Benicio’s very involved; he and Delilah have a very special bond.

On motherhood:

K: I love being a mother. It’s the greatest experience of my life. It gets better every day. Delilah is starting to smile; she’s the perfect little angel.

On who she thinks Delilah looks like:

K: She definately looks like her dad, but she has my legs and eye colour.

On having a brother [Aiden] and a daughter with only a 6 month age gap:

K: Since they are only 6 months apart, I am counting on them being best friends.

On what qualities she wants to pass on to her daughter:

K: Ultimately I just want to make sure she has good morals and is a happy person.

Jennifer Garner recently attended a screening of her up and coming film Butter wearing a short dress by Larvin after being styled by celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe, who insists that the pregnant actress stays away from maternity clothes. The 39-year-old told instyle.com

Rachel Zoe is so determined to not put me in maternity clothes. I think because she was so little when she was pregnant, she didn’t wear them.

Although Zoe has got her way so far – it’s a trend Jennifer can’t see continuing.

I have four months to go. Sooner or later, she is going to have to put me in a maternity dress. Eventually that is going to happen, but so far she has gotten her way.

Baby on the way will be the actress’ third child with husband Ben Affleck. They are already parents to daughters Violet Anne, 6 next month, and Seraphina Rose Elizabeth, 3 in January.
